I purchased an ATIVA Model A16MC17 16-sheet capacity shredder from Home Depot (should have bought from Amazon, but we were in the store). Knowing that sometimes electronics crap out, I bought the 2-year extended protection from Square Trade (just insurance through Allstate). Wouldn't you know after 7 months of fairly light duty, the thing quits working. Office Despot says they can't help me, I need to contact Square Trade. I go online and enter all the info to file a claim. They respond with, 'sorry, it should be covered by the mfg warranty'. The phone number on the back of the machine goes to a non-descript number that asks you to leave a recording. I went online to Office Depot customer service, and they gave me a number to Ativa that actually was not a working number. When I chatted with them again, they tried to give me the same number. When I said it didn't work, they came up with another number and support@ativa.com This doesn't even appear to be the same company. All in all a totally frustrating run-around. I won't shop at Office Depot ever again, and I definitely wouldn't advise ANYONE buy anything with the ATIVA name on it.Generic bluetooth radio windows 10.
