I use a Macbook Air. The mouse said it was compatible so I ordered it, knowing that Logitech is a reliable brand of wireless mice. I plugged the receiver in (which is hidden in the battery compartment) and it immediately started working. The only thing that was weird was the scrolling. It scrolled in the reverse direction of normal mice.
To save you time-- please install the Logitech Options application on your computer and it will give you an option to change from natural scrolling to standard. If you try to just change this in your system preferences, it will also change your touchpad preferences.
Overall, this is a nice mouse and I like it now that I have it set up! It was just confusing to install Logitech Control Center from the website and then find out that the program is not compatible with this mouse, even though they were promoting it, if that makes sense. The website was not very user friendly!
