Would be great if there was no timer or allow the user to set a specific timer instead of 30 secs? Also would like a pause button as well ^_^. Kaspersky free key license microsoft office. Thanks!
Very useful app
Sound Level Meter App For Computer
It will give you a live sound level reading like other apps. It will also tell you what is a 'safe' level or what it compares to, like 'this is how loud a flushing toilet is' (LOL).
However, you have to record the sound with the app to show the sound level. So, you can't have the sound level run constantly. It runs for 30 seconds at a time and you don't have to save each recording. To save the sound byte you must assign it a 'category' (which won't usually make sense but that's what it requires). You can also see a graphical view of recorded sounds.
The best part: NO ADS!!
RECORDINGS LOST BUT WHY?
I am looking forward to see if the 'Labeling' error has been fixed.
Sound Level will not save the event under certain labeling conventions, though I do not have them all memorized, and they are not listed, hence I loose 1/3 of my recordings due to both Software error 1) of it not offering me another labeling opportunity, AND 2) Due to the App NOT STATING 'do not use unhyphenated names, over a certain quantity of characters, special characters like '@'. et cetera.
Information

Noise Level Meter
Have you ever suffered from the noise of the neighbors?
SPL(sound pressure level) meter app uses your embedded microphone to measure noise volume in decibels(db), and shows a reference.
REMEMBER! Most smartphone microphones are aligned to human voice (300-3400Hz, 40-60dB). Voice calls do not require high-performance microphones.
Therefore the maximum value is LIMITED by manufacturers, and very loud sound(100+ dB) cannot be recognized. Moto G4 (max.94), Galaxy S6 (85dB), Nexus 5 (82dB), HTC Desire(82dB)..
See 6-7th images. I calibrated major android devices with an actual sound meter (dBA). You can trust the result in routine-noise levels (40-70dB). Please use it as an auxiliary tool.
